Coping in a
Covid World
By David May, General Manager
We are all having to cope in a COVID world.
Sounds like a country song, right? We all want
things to return to normal, whatever that may
wind up looking like. Some people want to buck
the system; others are very strict rule followers.
We all want to put our own spin on the whole COVID-19 crazy.
But at the end of the day, as the General Manager for this amazing
community, I must abide by the current regulations that are set forth by the
state of California, the county of Riverside, the city of Hemet, and the Board
of Directors. Sometimes these regulations are a moving target, sometimes
not.
The Board is doing their best to make sure that these regulations are
properly followed. They are also doing their best to make sure that Solera
Diamond Valley follows proper protocol so as to not inadvertently get caught
up in a lawsuit because regulations were not properly followed and someone
got sick… or worse.
Hey, we live in California! People love to sue; it's like a sport! Let's not
have that sort of sporting event here. Let's just follow the regulations that are
currently in place.
Things are definitely improving statewide, so hopefully we will be able to
start opening up the Lodge and all of the amenities again very soon!
Meanwhile, stay strong and cope on!
