Coping in a
Covid World
By David May, General Manager
Spring – the season of renewal. Spring is my
favorite season!
Out here in the Beach Boys' land of Endless
Summer, the seasons sometime seem to just blend seamlessly together;
summer glides into fall; fall slides into winter; winter is barely noticed
(especially for those of us who have lived in frigid portions of the country
and really, really know what winter is all about); and then winter yawns and
turns into spring.
Here in our beautiful community of Solera Diamond Valley, spring always
brings an element of hope and renewal. Trees are beginning to blossom and
get their leaves, the summer crop of flowers are starting to bloom, and the
weather, that is most always great anyway, starts to get even more amazing.
After all, that's a huge part of why we live here in Southern California!
Some of the spring projects that are coming our way are:
• Bocce Ball Court refreshing (stretch the artificial turf and re-painting
the lines.
• Lighting upgrades in the Lodge and Parking Lot.
• New plants in the outside pool area planter pots.
• Other projects are still out for proposals and will get started as they are
approved.
Spring and early summer are also great times to do some of your
outside projects around the house, like painting and other beautification
projects. Just make sure that you contact the office for the required Home
Improvement Application (HIA) form or go online to the community's
website: SoleraDiamondValley.com and download the HIA prior to
beginning any work.
I hope you all have an amazing and beautiful spring!
