By Irma Rabago, Interim GM
First and foremost, I want to start off by saying that I am very excited to be
back at beautiful Solera Diamond Valley. Most of you longtime residents know
me but for those who don't let me tell you a bit about myself.
My start in the HOA industry was here, serving as the Concierge in 2017.
While I had a fantastic time being the first face homeowners saw when they
walked into The Lodge, I was quickly promoted to what is now known as the
Property Service Manager. I worked along side the Board and FAC to facilitate
projects such as the Gym Floor Installation, Bocce Ball Court Revamp and
more.
In 2018, I moved on to become a Community Manager where I had eight
communities in my portfolio. I provided a full service for them including
hosting Board of Director Meetings, Annual Meeting, Budgets, Work Orders,
Compliance Inspections, etc.
On April 26, 2021, I joined the ranks of over 20,000 community association
management professionals around the world by earning my Certified Manager
of Community Association (CMCA) certification.
I am excited to take the experiences and accomplishments I have had
and apply them to the ever-evolving Solera Diamond Valley. My focus in my
recently appointed interim role is to protect the liability of the association
by serving at the pleasure of the Board of Directors to facilitate the three
purposes of a community association: Business (Financial Maintenance)
Government (Enforcing Rules, Host Meetings/Hearings) and Community
(Lifestyle Events).
Okay, okay enough about me; how about a brief update on what the
Management Team has been working on as far as maintenance? The backflows,
Lodge elevator, Fire Suppression System have been tested and recertified. The
Mulch was replenished in the common areas and along the Paseo. In May, the
Board of Directors approved several projects that have been scheduled. Keep
your eye on the website for progress on those.
