By Irma Rabago,
Last month management received a lot of questions, comments and
concerns regarding what the COVID-19 rules are while visiting the Lodge. As
you know, at the June 2021 Board of Directors meeting the Board voted to
follow the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). I have provided
a summary of CDC guidelines and link for more information below:
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds,
especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your
nose, coughing, or sneezing.
• Masks are required to be worn indoors for those who are not vaccinated.
• Masks are recommended to be worn indoors for those who are
vaccinated.
• If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that
contains at least 60 percent alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands
and rub them together until they feel dry.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Here are the current guidelines for exposure and quarantine. If you've
been around someone who has COVID-19, you should get tested 3-5
days after your exposure, even if you don't have symptoms. You should
also wear a mask indoors in public for 14 days following exposure or
until your test result is negative.
• For more information on CDC recommendations please see: https://
www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/index.html.
Cleaning and sanitation happens on a nightly basis by our Janitorial
vendor. If a positive COVID-19 test is reported to management a deep clean
and sanitation per CDC guidelines is completed as soon as possible and
notification to the membership is sent containing as much information that
management can legally provide.
I understand that these are trying times and it is hard to keep up with all
the changes. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call, we are
here to help and together we will get through this.
