Communication is key, so let's talk about it.
In January, Management was directed to send out a survey regarding the
relocation of the mailbox clusters to the parking lot. The intention was to
reach as many residents as possible without spending money. The website
supplied ease, access to reach the most residents, and, best of all, the survey
option was FREE! This was the perfect solution, so Management got to work.
Shortly after the launch of the survey, I quickly realized that there was some
confusion surrounding where the email notifying the community of the
survey came from. It became very clear that most residents do not know the
email blast options that are used Solera Diamond Valley and the different
ways they are used, so let me explain.
One email blast comes straight from the Management Team, on behalf
of the Board of Directors. To receive this email blast, you MUST opt in
and request to be a part of the communication by providing your email
to the Management Team. This email is a great way to stay connected on
information from the Management Team regarding facility maintenance,
compliance, meeting reminders, community updates, event flyers and
details, etc. These blasts will have the SDV logo as a header in the beginning
of the email blast, as well as a salutation that encompasses the community as
a whole, such as, "Hello Solera Diamond Valley." The closing of the email blast
will have the name of the Management Team member that sent the email
allowing residents the ability to reply to the email and receive a response to
questions from the appropriate department head.
The second email blast comes from the website and is the main form
of communication from other residents. This email may contain updates
for SDV Committees, Clubs, Groups, Lost and Found items, information
on community and city events, etc. This email usually shows up in your
inbox as an "Alert Message." To receive this email blast, you MUST opt
in by creating an account on the Solera Diamond Valley website, www.
soleradiamondvalley.com.
If you need assistance with creating an account or signing up for either
email blast, please contact Luke Petersen, the Administrative Assistant, via
email at luke.petersen@seabreezemgmt.com or visit him at the Mountain
View Lodge front desk.
Neither Solera Diamond Valley Community Association nor the
Management Team is affiliated in any way with any Facebook site, Next Door
site, or email blasts from Sue's Blasts.
