| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2018 | 9 Rule Change Concerning RV Storage Area Rules and Regulations PROPOSED RULE CHANGE NOTIFICATION # 18-11 The Board reviewed the following proposed amendment, to the Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association General Statement of Rules and Regulations (revised February 1, 2018 edition), that appears on the Association's website (sunlakescc.com) and are available in the administration office (please reference ARTICLE V โ Planning and Compliance Section 5.09, Recreation Vehicle Storage Area Rules and Regulations, Rule #2, 3 and 10c, at its May 23, 2018 Open Session meeting. The Board will vote upon the proposed amendment at its August 22, 2018 Open Session Meeting, following publication in the July 2018 edition of Lifestyles. If the Board votes in favor of the proposed rule change it would go into effect September 1, 2018. PURPOSE: The purpose of the proposed rule changes adds language to RV Lot Storage requirements. EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed rule changes adds requirements to present proof of insurance, clarifies the dates of renewal or non-renewal notifications, date for noncompliance and requires vehicles parked in the RV lot to be movable and drivable. All vehicles parked in the RVSA must conform to the defined recreational vehicle(s) as stated, in #7 #8 of the Rules and Regulations. When executing a lease agreement, a lessee must present a current vehicle registration and proof of insurance documentation for the defined vehicle(s) that is/are to be parked in the leased space. The registration and proof of insurance must documentation shall be in the name of the resident lessee. 3. A RVSA lease runs from January 1 โ December 31. Lease renewal agreements or notice of non-renewal will be mailed out no later than November 15th, along with an attachment that will have 2 dates and times in January, that the Committee will be in the lot installing new stickers to the qualified vehicles. It will be the lessee responsibility to present the vehicles on those dates at the listed times. in November. Leases must be signed and returned to the SLCC administration office with the associated annual fees, current vehicle registration and proof of insurance documentation no later than December 15. If a lessee fails to meet this deadline, Failure to meet this deadline, will cause a letter of non-compliance will to be mailed on December 16th, giving thirty (30) notice of non- compliance. If no action is taken by January 1 16, a lease will be considered out of compliance and could be subject to fines according to the Sun Lakes Country Club schedule of fines and fees and the vehicle(s) could will be removed from SLCC property, in accordance with all applicable laws, Vehicle Code ยง22658 at the owner's expense. 10c. All vehicles parked in the RVSA shall be owned by and currently registered to a current resident that is in good standing with the Association, and is the space lessee on record. The vehicles must be kept in a movable and drivable condition at all times. The vehicle(s) shall clearly display a current Recreational Vehicle Storage Area Decal, applied by the RVSA Committee operations department staff, in the following locations: (1) Front or rear window (2) Trailer Hitch Visible part of towing structure on towables. Unauthorized use of a decal shall be cause for termination of lease and removal from lot. PROPOSED RULE AMENDMENT NOTIFICATION
