| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2018 | 11 SUN LAKES ID CARDS Since May, the community has implemented the new ID Card process. This process is where homeowners, non-owner occupants, and tenants receive an ID Card that can be used in the Restaurant & Lounge and Golf Facilities. We want to thank the community for working with us to make this a successful program! We encourage all homeowners to bring their ID Card with them when leaving the house, just in case you happen to stop for breakfast or lunch, or simply want to enjoy a coffee and pastry at our new coffee bar in the Main Clubhouse Lobby. We understand that this can be an inconvenience if you forget the card, since service will be refused without your ID Card. We apologize for this inconvenience, but hope the community understands the reasoning why we have to do this, and why the ID Card Process was started. There were a large number of guests from outside the community that were using the Restaurant & Lounge without being with a resident in Sun Lakes. There were multiple reports from Sun Lakes residents who tried to go to Lounge (for example), and all the seats were taken from people who lived outside the community. Since Sun Lakes is a private homeowners association, the Board took steps with the ID Cards to help resolve this issue. Sun Lakes Country Club and its amenities are for the use of residents and their invited guests only, and the Board wanted to ensure that standard was being upheld. If you still need to get an ID Card, please come to the administration office and staff can help you. Please make sure that you bring a valid ID with you such as a driver's license or a passport. COMMENT CARD PROGRAM We appreciate your feedback! We are rolling out a comment card program starting in July. We hope you will share your Sun Lakes experience with us and let us know how we are doing. There are three different types of comment cards (Food & Beverage, Golf, and General HOA) and each will be located in their respective areas. Comment cards and boxes will be located in: • Each of the three clubhouses • The Main and Administration reception desks • The Main and North pro shops • The Restaurant, Bar, and Sandwedge There are questions on each card that we would love to have answered, as well as a comment section to leave your feedback. Once complete, please drop your comment card in the locked black box. The responses will be picked up by management and tallied on a weekly basis. NEW - EXECUTIVE RESTROOM LOCK & KEYS The men's and women's restrooms on the executive golf course, at hole #6 green and #12 green will have locks installed on the doors on August 1, 2018. This is due to circumstances of vagrants getting on property and using those facilities. For the safety and protection of the Sun Lakes residents, it is recommended that these locks are installed to deter this activity. There will be an "Occupied" or "Not Occupied" device installed with the lock so that residents know if the restroom is in use. Please do not try to open the restroom door if "Occupied" appears. The key for these restrooms will be the same key as the walk in gates in the Sun Lakes community. If you have misplaced your key or need a new one, please contact the Operations Dept at 951-769-6644 and speak to Ann Renteria. There is a $5 reproduction cost for each key requested. This is for the executive golf course only, the championship course is not affected. DISTRICT 22 ITALIAN DINNER AND CHARITY AUCTION Aug. 4 at the South Clubhouse, BYOB.
