We were trying to get a bus for this event. However, we need 45 members to sign up. We were attempting to get a block of rooms, but the rooms are terribly expensive for this time of year. If you are interested in going down to Del Mar on a bus, please contact Bob Walter, 845-2002. Aug. 11: Hot August Country Western Night. THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL SUN LAKES RESIDENTS AND THEIR GUESTS. Boot Scootin Boogie! What a wonderful way to spend the evening and take advantage of the cool air in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Get your boots dusted off and cowboy and cowgirl attire ready. You will be doing some two steppin'. Music by Johnny Rocket. We will also have a couple of dance lessons if you would like to participate. The cost for this event is only $10. There will be an appetizer buffet for $10 pp paid directly to the clubhouse. Sept. 27: Girls & Pearls Party. Wanna girls' nite out? Come and enjoy a fun time with your girlfriends. Harvest your pearl from real oysters and create your own necklace. Enjoy wonderful appetizers and a glass of champagne all for only $30 per lady including your necklace. This is limited to the first 64 ladies. Time will be at 6 pm. ATTENTION! Mark your calendar for our grand event to be held on Nov. 18. This event is back by popular demand. Come join us and party with the KILLER DUELING PIANOS, a Vegas style event in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. This event is open to ALL Sun Lakes residents and their guests. Everyone is sure to have a fun time. There will be table seating in the round and appetizers available for purchase. Look for flyers soon at the Main Clubhouse lobby.
