The Sun Lakes Genealogy Club meets in the Main Clubhouse
Multipurpose Room on Wed., July 25 at 1. Guest speaker will
be talking on the naturalization records and our ancestor's
requirements for becoming an American citizen. Red, white and
blue cookies will be served for all.
July and August are well known as vacation months and our club
would like to help all our members and guests on hints that would
help discover family information while out there traveling around.
If you are visiting an ancestor's country or village or city,you will
need to know what agency or museum or courthouse or library
to contact while there. Just watch the T V program "Who Do You
Think You Are" to see how the celebrities travel to these places and
find valuable information.
We also will be presenting a member
who just recently was notified of her
membership in the Mayflower
Association. This has been a
pursuit of hers for three years.
She will be sharing with us
about her journey to acquire the
membership.
