The first Saturday morning tennis mixer will be on July 7 at 8 am SCH, this event is for tennis club members and all residents of Sun Lakes, refreshments are provided. Please come out and enjoy playing. Sunday July 15 from 6 am to 12 pm is Breakfast at Wimbledon in the MCH Lounge! This incredible experience was started last year and is supremely put on and enjoyed by all, you will not want to miss it. The price per person is $15 pre paid and the sign up sheet is at the SCH. The cut off date for this event is July 11 and there can be no exceptions so if you want to go please sign up now. We are proud to announce that our men's USTA team took first place in their league play and are headed to the sectionals Sept. 22 and 23! Way to go and best of luck! Wed., July 18 is our tennis mixer/dinner at 5 pm. This will be pizza and beer and it costs $5 per person and $10 for non- members. There is a sign up sheet at the MCH please sign up and pre pay. We will play tennis from 5 - 6 pm and dinner will be at 6 pm. Our taco fiesta was super and enjoyed by all who attended. Have a wonderful summer. Haven't played since you were a kid? Doesn't matter… we have players of all skill levels. We play Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 4 to 6 pm, and Sat., 10 am to 12 noon in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom (normally). See the Events Board across from the Main Clubhouse Reception Desk for more information. Info., Bruno, 797-0357. This year we have had lots of rain, lots of misty mornings and NOW we are officially into sunshine: perfect for early morning POP Tennis. While many of our players travel during the summer to cooler locations, you will always find folks on the scheduled days. This is a great time to invite a friend or neighbor to join you on the court. Equipment is available for newcomers to use. We welcome everyone interested in the game to join us. Scheduled days of play are Tues./Thurs./Fri. from 8 to 10 am. On Sunday, the courts are open to everyone, but many POP Tennis players show up to play on Sunday at 8 am.
