RANDY RIGGLE���S ROBIN SICK FITNESS TIPS Our Fitness Trainer, Robin Sick, will be holding seminars on various ���tness topics. If any of these topics interest you, please stop by the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room to watch the presentation on the dates listed below from 12:30 to 1 pm. The seminar is FREE to residents. Do you have certain ���tness goals you would like to attain? Talk with Robin, and she can help you achieve those goals. ��� Jan. 16: Healthy Resolutions for the Whole Year ��� Feb. 20: Body Mass Index vs. Percent Body Fat ��� March 20: Gearing up for Golf ��� April 17: Diabetes and Exercise ��� May 15: Balance and Stability Exercises Robin���s Fitness Room Schedule: PILATES MAT with added props, such as the magic circle, bands, foam rollers, provided by instructor Debbie Matloff. Pilates teaches balance and control of the body. Practiced faithfully, Pilates has many bene���ts, such as increased lung capacity and circulation through deep, healthy breathing. A primary focus is strength and ���exibility particularly of the abdomen and back muscles. Posture, balance and core strength are all increased. Pilates works from the inside out. It is not a quick ���x, it takes time but the results are lasting. A mat is required. Class resumes on Tues., Jan. 8, at 8:30 am in the South Clubhouse. You���ll be taken back to that fateful day at Pearl Harbor and travel through the 40s, 50s, and 60s until the ���rst steps are taken on the lunar surface. Nationally touring standup comedian Randy Riggle will be your tour guide on a trip ���lled with songs, laughs, and over 40 impersonations in this one and a half hour one-man show. Tickets are $10 per person and go on-sale starting Jan. 3. The show will be theater seating. 60s MUSICAL TRIBUTE SHOW Sat., Feb. 16, 7:30 - 9 pm, Doors open at 6 pm. Dr. Boss���eld will start with an InBody Composition Analysis for the ���rst 30 minutes of the program. The test is a comprehensive analysis of one���s body composition that includes suggestions for reducing body fat and/or building muscle mass. (This test takes about a minute, and runs about $50 in most doctor���s of���ce for the test and results explanation. Dr. Bross���eld offers this free). She will review the test results as a group and overview why it���s important to want health and work towards it. Dr. Boss���eld will present examples of people in a similar place in life that have created health by adopting a lean and healthy lifestyle. You will not want to miss this informative and helpful seminar! Check with instruction for fees on all classes and holiday schedules GENERAL CLASS INFO. If there are not enough people enrolled, a class will have to be cancelled. If you register at least a week early, we���ll be able to save classes that appear to have not met the minimum enrollment. In most cases, we���ll also be able to add classes if we exceed the maximum enrollment provided a wait list has been established prior to the ���rst class meeting. Class fees are determined by the number of participants enrolled in each class. For current fees, please contact the class instructor.
