get the joke your comments: Last months joke was an article for the group Dryer Lint Artists. I had a couple of calls from people who were relieved to nd a use for their dryer lint. I suggested they throw it away. Body hair on my holiday table. I dont think so. Marie G. (Gross! I didnt even think of that.) I have several projects in mind. Judy R. (Christmas sweater?!?!) Im a creative knitting artist, however Im will to try linting. Helene K. (You could probably use it as yarn) Guess I better sort by color when drying so the lint isnt all grey looking! Helen R. (You should sort by color anyway! Its in the directions on the box of detergent!) Collecting lint is a way of life in Sun Lakes. We have color matching experts here too! Bess H. (That should go in the marketing material!) Finally, my type of art will be recognized. Janice & Alvin E. (Everyone has a special purpose.) I have tried everything else. Maybe this is where my talent lies. Ruth S. (Your special purpose!) Its about time we formed such a club! Jim S. (See you at the meeting!) Can catch re. Also, all the colors of the rainbow. Many uses. Stan K. (The Flaming Rainbows would be a great name for a band.) Finally. I have a bag of lint at home. Dottie J. (I wonder if you can compost lint?) How did you ever come up with this one? Bob H. (Who knows. My brain scares me sometimes.) As always, keep the great photos coming! Were hoping for snow so we can get some more great winter photos for upcoming issues. Please send any photos of Sun Lakes to sunlakesnews@yahoo.com. Congratulations to this months Dinner Winner: Fran Kramarski Please see Debbie Sorrows for your Sun Lakes Restaurant dinner for two. Somewhere in this issue of Lifestyles Magazine is an ad, an article, or something else that is completely made up, somewhat amusing, mildly offensive or just plain hilarious, depending on your sense of humor. When you nd it, ll out the box below and turn it into the Main Clubhouse reception desk before noon on the sixth of the month. If you are the rst correct guess chosen at random, you will win a free dinner! Remember, the production of Lifestyles is due entirely to the generous support of our advertisers. Please thank them by visiting their place of business or calling them rst whenever you need their service or product. 54 | sun lakes lifestyles | january 2013 | Finally. A use for my dryer lint. I dont like being wasteful. Andrea K. (It would make a good stufng for a pillow and would smell pretty good too!) Maybe this will replace Chia Pets. Linda A. (Maybe. I had to put my Chia Pet down. It kept peeing on the carpet.) I wanted to create a snowman for my holiday table but I recognized the phone number as one of the ones that have been used for Get the Joe at times. Also, there is no phone or address for Frannie McCoy in the 2012 telephone Book. Merry Christmas. Jenny P. (Good Lord, Jenny. You need to join the CIA.) With asthma, I can do without this on my table. Although, I know they really do this. Not for me! Norma H. (Waste not, want not, I suppose.) My wife gave me a dangerous look when I asked her if we had a dryer. I think Ill have to pass on this one. Gerald I. (Youre probably grounded for a while.) It was a hard joke to nd but the only thing that looked a bit far out. Lillian F. (Far out or groovy?) Pressed lint into shapes of evergreen trees, sprayed green and white with LED lights, set on mirror with mounds of sloped snow (lint sprayed white around the mirror). LuElla J. (What?!? No pictures?) Happy coincidence! Ive been collecting my navel lint for the past 37 years and now have 465 lbs. I hope you accept donations. Ralph M. (I need to introduce you to the lady who has been saving her toe nail clippings.) I got the joke!
