EXCURSIONS Sign-ups begin for the Recreation Department excursions on Jan. 2, at 8 am, in the Rec. Dept. of���ces. PLEASE NOTE! Due to some of the excursion refund policies, and to keep cancellations down to a minimum, we ask those who wish to sign up for an excursion to please check your calendar for prior engagements prior to signing up for excursions. REFUND POLICY: 1. Cancellations made 30 days prior to the departure date of an excursion or special event will qualify for a full refund. 2. Cancellations made after the 30 day refund deadline are not refundable. However, if an excursion or event has sold out and there is a wait list, the Recreation Department may issue a refund if the ticket can be resold from the wait list. If a holiday falls on the ���rst day of the month, sign-ups will begin the next day. WAITING LIST POLICY The waiting list is created by the Rec. Dept. for sold out events/ excursions. This list is used (in order of registration) when the attendee has to cancel due to illness, doctor���s appointment, etc. The waiting list is not used for additional sign-ups for secondary excursions that are scheduled due to their popularity. Contact the Rec. Dept. if you have any questions about either of these two policies. WE ACCEPT CHECKS ONLY (PAYABLE TO SUN LAKES). All Recreation Classes, Excursions, and Special Events are open to residents only, unless otherwise speci���ed. Join us as we have the former lead singer, William Florian, of the famous 60s band ���The New Christy Minstrels��� at Sun Lakes Country Club. He will be hosting the show ���Those Were the Days,��� which is an upbeat, energetic, musical journey of America���s greatest songs of the 60s. This includes songs he performed with the famous New Christy Minstrels plus the music of Peter Paul & Mary, John Denver, Pete Seeger, The Mamas & The Papas, and uplifting originals presented with amusing stories in an intimate show.
