May Open Session Board Action Items: • The Board appointed Diane Radeka to the Restaurant & Lounge Advisory Committee. • The Board accepted the resignation of Mary Baines from the District 21 Delegate position. • The Board approved resolution to pre-lien and lien delinquent accounts. • The Board approved the CAAC recommendation not to install blinds in the billiards room. • The Board approved the Safety & Security Advisory Committee's recommendation to modify procedure for notification of open garage doors. • The Board tabled the Proposed Rule Change 18-03 – Article VI, Section 6.01#14 – Recreation Facilities Rules and Regulation. • The Board approved the 30-day reading to amend rules & regulations Article IV, General Rules #3. • The Board approved the 30-day reading to amend the Rules & Regulation Article V, Section 5.09, Rules #2, #3 and #10c. • The Board approved the proposal to replace the MCH Veranda Furniture (Replacement Fund Item.) • The Board approved the proposal to replace the NCH Tennis Backboard (Replacement Fund Item.) • The Board approved the proposal to replace the Plant Material and Irrigation on the Hole #6 planters. May Report on Executive Session Action (non-confidential) This report will give the community an update on actions that were taken by the Board at the executive session meetings on May 7, May 9, May 14, and May 23, 2018: • The Board opened four request for proposals for management services for the work on the championship golf course on holes #14, 15, and 16. The Board setup interviews with three of the representatives as well as Webb & Associates for the drainage work. • The Board received four requests for a variance to the parking policy. After reviewing each matter, the Board voted to deny each request. • The Board met with the Finance Committee as well as the Bingo Committee. • The Board met with a homeowner to review a request regarding the rules and regulations. • The Board approved a proposal from Artistic Maintenance to fill in plant material on hole #17 of the championship course. • The Board gave direction to management that we will not be having entertainment after the 1st Sunday Brunch. • The Board approved to write off bad debt that has proven to be uncollectible. • The Board reviewed a request from a homeowner to replace the bench by hole #9 on the championship course. The Board gave direction to the General Manager to purchase a bench for that area, after the landscaping project has been completed. • The Board reviewed a request from a homeowner for an annual golf refund. The Board voted to approve the request. • The Board reviewed three member requests to waive delinquency fees. After reviewing each matter, the board voted to approve two of the requests and denied one request. • The Board received a request for payment plan. The board voted to table this item at this time for more information. • The Board met with the community patrol provider, Securitas, to review contract matters. • The Board received three proposals for the replacement of the MCH Veranda furniture. This is on tonight's agenda for further discussion. • The Board received a bid to replace the dead plant material and broken irrigation on hole #6 planters. The Board voted to have Artistic Maintenance complete this work at a cost not to exceed $52,000. • Finally, The Board received three proposals for the replacement of the tennis backboard at the North Clubhouse Courts.
