FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2018 19 Greetings! Tickets to our Fashion Show on Aug. 11 are sold out and a wait list has been started at the Lodge Lobby front desk. We are very much looking forward to this event. We are also starting to plan our Masquerade Murder Mystery Event on Oct. 27. This will be another fun event not to be missed. More information will appear in next month's article. Until next month, take care. ~ Pamela Morales Social Committee At the June meeting the Facilities Committee unanimously elected Bruce Lewis as the new Chairperson. Bruce was previously Co-Chair of the Committee, and he will continue bringing his dedication and knowledge to his new position. A key issue discussed at the June meeting was the Lodge roof repair due to serious leak issues. All three Lodge building roofs are in need of repair. Eric Zarr was able to join us for this discussion. Amy Bardos, Saphire Rhodes, and Eric provided us with essential background information. We continue working with the Finance Committee on this complex issue. The Craft Room project is still under review by Facilities and CPT. A diagram of the proposed project will be posted in the Craft Room and users will be invited to comment on the proposed project. In addition, the resurfacing of the shuffle board courts has been completed. A number of other projects are under review, including a Courts sauna alarm system, and automatic door openers for handicap access to the restrooms at the Summit and Courts. We also learned that Amy Bardos will be leaving us. She has done an outstanding job as our FirstService Representative and will be greatly missed by the committee. Hugo Barahona will be replacing Amy. We look forward to working with Hugo. We currently have positions open on the Facilities Committee for those interested in serving the community. The Facility Committee meets the second Wednesday of the month at 10 am in the RCN building. We welcome all residents to join us and share ideas or concerns. ~ John Baeyertz Facilities Committee
