You must complete a Schedule Change Request Form, found on the website or at the Front Desk in the Lodge, by the 8th of the month to make it in the following month's calendar. We had a great National Night Out Celebration on July 11. It is always nice to say thank you to all of those who serve in our Community. National Night Out started 35 years ago in 1984 simply with neighbors turning on their porch lights and sitting in front of their homes. Today we use National Night Out to increase awareness about police programs in communities such as Neighborhood Watch. We are really fortunate here at Four Seasons Beaumont that we get so much support from our first responders as well as our city officials. On the second Wednesday of each month we hold our Neighborhood Watch meetings. Here in Four Seasons we focus on how we as residents can help to keep ourselves, our homes and our community safe. We must remember that while we live in a private, gated community, this does not mean we are a secure community. We still have many visitors and vendors who enter our gates daily. It is very important that residents practice safe habits such as not leaving garage doors open, locking gate to the backyard, locking all vehicles that are left in driveways or parking lots, making sure no valuables are left in our vehicles and most importantly making sure that garage doors and all doors and windows leading into our homes are locked. Stay alert at all times, if you see something, say something, call the Beaumont Police Department at (951) 769-8500 and let them check it out. Never put yourself in danger or confront a stranger. Please see the list of streets that need a Block Captain on our bulletin board in the Lodge. We would love to have you join our Block Captain team. Remember, we consider all residents a member of Neighborhood Watch, therefore all are welcome to attend our meetings. Our next meeting is Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 10 am in the Lodge Ballroom. Our topic will be Everything You Want To Know About Neighborhood Watch. We would like to have our Block Captains or anyone interested in becoming a Block Captain join us on Aug. 8, from 9:30 am to 10 am for a Block Captain meeting before our general meeting. ~ Donna Lewis FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2018 31 Neighborhood Watch Below schedules may change, cancel or reschedule at any time.
