FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2018 51 Water Volleyball Ladies Putters Group On June 8, the Ladies Putters Group held a Putting Tournament at the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont. The LPG members got to play 18 holes on the Tukwet putting green. Two extremely knowledgeable Tukwet employees, Barry Ginnetti and Roland Balingit (who are also Four Seasons residents), were on hand to assist the group before the start of the tournament. They explained the ins and outs of the putting area and gave the ladies some great putting tips. The day was filled with lots of fun, some great putting, and a number of LPG members even got holes in one. After the Tournament, the group gathered for an awards luncheon, at the Clubhouse at Tukwet Canyon. At the luncheon, all the LPG members were given gift bags, which included a signature Tukwet Canyon golf ball and other goodies. After a delicious meal, awards were handed out to the winners, in several categories: • 1st Place, Lowest Score (40): Phyllis Kates • 2nd Pace, Lowest Score (41): Cathy Thomas • 3rd Place, Lowest Score (45): Dianne Wood and Carolyn Hamic • Most Holes in One (3): Dianne Wood • Closest to the Hole Contest: Vivian Walker All and all, the Ladies Putters Group had a wonderful day at Tukwet and we hope to have another tournament, sometime very soon.
