The 5th annual car show will take place Sept. 8 from 9 am to 3
pm and promises to be a great time for all involved. Thanks to all
the people on the planning committee for the work done so far. We
still need volunteers to help out with serving refreshments, traffic
control, judging, raffle prizes, goodie bags, passing out flyers at local
car shows and most importantly finding a few more car show entries.
If you would like to volunteer or if you know of a car owner who may
want to enter our show, please have them contact Dave Balser at (760)
436 6139 for an entry form.
Breakfast, lunch, ice cream, beer, wine, and sodas will be available
provided by Francisco, DogoDogs, and Kona Ice.
We are providing a 40 x 60 canopy and 150 chairs and tables so
folks can eat lunch and a beverage in the shade. The band, Lil A And
The All Nighters will also be under a 20 x 20 canopy to keep them
cool.
Some cars entered so far include a Baja 500 race truck from Lewis
Built Performance, Darryl Drakes award winning 1935 Chevy sedan,
and a "Cycle Car" built by Hemet resident Frank Bird.
Please thank the very generous sponsors listed below for their
contributions to make this show a success. See you in September!
