| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | SEPTEMBER 2018 | 43 The Stardust Dancers and the "Men of Style" would like to thank all of the people who helped bring our July show to a wonderful conclusion. So much work goes into a successful production. So many rehearsals, classes, and sleepless nights by all involved. It takes an army, and the Stardust supporters won the battle. Hugs and thanks to Bill Nelson, Dave Klaus, Burt Garbell, Tom Sheahan, Betty Beidelman, and the steering committee: Evelyn Hawkins, Mary Huffman, Carol Hurt, Ginger Burris and Martie Steggell, as well as the many Stardust Dancers who sewed, decorated, sold tickets, ordered supplies, set up dressing areas, and helped in so many different ways. We want to extend a special thanks to all Sun Lakes Entertainers who joined us to form a great variety of talent for the show. Joining us also was the San Gorgonio Ballet, and ballroom dancers Rene Rivera and Yun Park. Thanks to every artist in the show. It was great. Stardust Dancers This month starts a new season with some FREE activities for residents that may be interested in learning about the club. Please come and check us out without any obligation. The first FREE activity will be very basic beginner line dance instruction. This will be Mon., Sept. 10, at 7 pm in the South Clubhouse. This class is meant just for very beginners. So come and give it a try. Other line dance instruction this month are Mon., Sept. 17 and 24. Again 7 pm at the South Clubhouse. The second free activity will be basic couples dance instruction on Tues., Sept. 11, at 7 pm in the South Clubhouse. All couples are invited to come, especially those that haven't done country western dancing and would like to learn. A second couples dance instruction will be Tues., Sept. 25, 7 pm at the South Clubhouse. There is no charge for couples instruction. Our final activity this month is a traditional Country Western dance. This will be Fri., Sept. 28, from 7 to 9 pm. Unfortunately we have this one dance in the South Clubhouse. All other dances for the rest of the year will be on Thursday evenings in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. So there you have it. A full September of activities for beginners and for our more experienced dancers. Any questions? Call Joe or Jean at 769-9148. Country Western Dance Pink Ukuladies Looking forward to participating in the annual Follies show "Sun Lakes Got Talent," Sept. 28, 29 and 30; we are practicing our song diligently and will be attired in western costume. The show promises lots of laughs! Again, we are honored to be invited. Thank you Florence Morck and staff. We are also practicing many ukulele songs for "Hawaiian Tuesday" with the Loma Linda Strummers, and that event will take place Oct. 30. When you have parties in your districts or clubs, remember the Pink Ukuladies. We enjoy singing and playing our ukuleles and will be happy to perform for you. If you would like to join us or seek information about our group, please contact Lily Fedotowsky at (941) 662-0633. You can also visit our website at www. pinkukuladies.com or email pinkukuladies@outlook.com. We always welcome new venues.
