FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2018 37 We meet Friday afternoons at 1 pm in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room. On the first and second Fridays, we make three cards. On the third Friday, we have an advanced technique class. On the fourth Friday, we either make a project or our usual three cards. The cost for the classes is $6 to cover materials and you only need to bring your own glue and scissors. If you haven't tried our classes, please think about joining us for a fun-filled afternoon! CHRISTMAS CARDMAKING EVENT We have our annual all-day cardmaking event on Nov. 9, from 9 am to 3 pm. You will leave with 10 beautiful cards and envelopes. You only need to bring glue and scissors… all other supplies are provided. We begin with coffee and muffins and around noon, we will stop and have pizza, salad and dessert! The cost for the day is $30 and it must be paid by Oct. 19 to hold your spot. We are beginning to take reservations now and are limiting the event to 40 people. We enjoyed our child guests and, of course, the grandparents. The kids enjoyed painting their selected pieces and the fun refreshments provided for all. Special thanks to our classmates who came down and volunteered time to assist with these very special participants. Ceramics class has something for the novice crafter looking for a new hobby, or someone who has experience and wants to create their own unique design or create pieces for friends and family. In addition to individual projects, we also offer class projects throughout the year to teach new techniques. Come and join in the fun, drop by the Craft Room to see our monthly ceramics class schedule and learn more about our upcoming class projects on Wednesday from 1 to 4 pm and the first Saturday of each month from 9 to 1 pm. Please see class schedule for any exceptions. A certified instructor and/or an experienced class team lead is available to support your crafting needs. Participation is at your own pace and frequency.
