You must complete a Schedule Change Request Form, found on the website or at the Front Desk in The Lodge, by the 8th of the month to make it in the following month's calendar. Our 2018 National Night Out was a great success and was attended by about 200 of our residents. Members of the Beaumont Police Department, Banning Police Department, Highway Patrol, Highway Patrol Cabazon scales, and city council persons were in attendance and gave brief but interesting presentations. Mila, the Beaumont Police Department canine, and her handler were a big hit during the evening. Thank you to Donna Lewis, our Block Captains' Director, and the rest of the Neighborhood Watch Steering Committee, for their time and efforts. Also, a special thank you to Shannon, our FirstService representative, for helping Anita with the flyers, posters, and other set up issues. It has been very hot this summer with many days over 100 degrees. Please remember to stay hydrated, and whenever possible, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Our Aug. 8 meeting was attended by our block captains, followed by the regular meeting for residents. Discussions covered everything you would like to know about Neighborhood Watch with presentations from our Steering Committee. Remember, please slow down driving through Four Seasons, and stop at all stop signs. Beaumont Police Department has been patrolling the streets in Four Seasons whenever their schedule allows. So, be aware of your driving. Telephone scams continue to be a problem with ROBO type calls about IRS issues, needing money for relatives in jail, and other scam issues too numerous to list. If you get a call requesting personal information, bank account information and requesting transfer of money, verify the information and call the Beaumont Police Department to report the call. The next Neighborhood Watch meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 10 am in The Lodge Ballroom. Remember, if you see something, say something by reporting the incident to the police department. Be safe and enjoy the rest of your summer. ~ Jerry Monahan FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2018 31 Neighborhood Watch Below schedules may change, cancel or reschedule at any time.
