The "Wild Bunch" 8-Ball Billiards Group is geared for those
individuals who want to play competitively with those of their skill
level. We started the new year with inviting the "best of the best" from
Sun Lakes and Solera to play competition on Fridays from 12:30 to
3:30 pm in our Billiards Room at Four Seasons. It has been a great
success with the skill levels ranging from Level Four to Level Seven.
The "Wild Bunch" consists of some of the best players in the league:
Calvin Moore, Joe Spinella, Lucas Don, Bob Rector, Robert Turner, Pete
Antoine, Mike Corbett, Carlos Rivera, LeRoy Wright, and Gracy Luna.
We enjoyed a "Scotch Doubles" tournament with Sun Lakes and
Solera this past month. We had 24 serious competitors, with Calvin
and Lucas leading Four Seasons scoring nine points out of 10. We
came in a close second just behind Sun Lakes, with Solera placing
third. Our next tournament will be in the October/November time
frame, with a one-on-one competition.
If you want to play serious, competitive pool, we invite you to come
by the Billiards Room and join in the stimulation of competitive play.
We do not play with partners; we play one-on-one with an opponent
of your skill level. We are always looking for those who want to play
competitively and, who knows, you just may want to change up your
game and play on the team! And, most importantly, we have a good
