26 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2018 | Players Theater Please join us Sat., Nov. 3 when Players Theater presents A Gift to Remember by Joseph Robinette based on the book by Debbie Macomber. The play is directed by our own Noreen Scott and performed by many of our Players Theater actors, as well as singers from Vintage Voices. We know you will enjoy this moving story of how strangers become collective friends through patience, understanding and humor, and realize the memory of Christmas Eve will be a gift to remember. Tickets go on sale Mon., Oct. 1 at the Lodge reception desk. The price per ticket is $7 and includes refreshments at intermission. Doors will open at 6 pm and performance will begin at 6:30 pm promptly. We are now in the midst of selecting plays for our 2019 performances. Although we do not know the exact date in February 2019 as yet, we will be performing Four Seasons Person of the Year written by Rudy Rich, our very own resident and performer in Players Theater. You will receive more information on dates in upcoming issues of the Herald. Again, we thank you for your past support, and hope you will enjoy all our future performances. ~ Chris Pounders, Chair TGIF Oct. 5: It's Oktoberfest time at TGIF. We will have German beer and wine for the raffle. Tickets are two for $1. Dan and Char's dish will be German style sauerkraut with mini hot dogs and mustard. Join us for a fun evening with plenty of time to visit and meet new neighbors. Nov. 2: This is the start of the holiday season with Thanksgiving just around the corner. For most of us it is a busy time with family and friends. Don't forget neighbors that live alone or don't have family near. Maybe invite them to join you for Thanksgiving to celebrate the day with your family and friends. Also, don't forget TGIF - join us for a fun evening to start off the holidays. Bring a dish to share with eight to 10, your own utensils, dishes and beverage of choice. We will provide hot water, instant coffee, tea and ice. ATTENTION: In order for TGIF to continue next year, we need volunteers. Please call Char Kopp at (951) 238- 0600. Thank you.
