FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2018 35
Counter Culture Cinema
Come join us this month for two more films you probably didn't
catch at the local Cineplex, the second of which is one of the best-
reviewed films of this year.
Our first monthly screening, on
Sunday, Oct. 14 at 6 pm, is the film
Kodachrome (USA 2017, 1 hr. 45 min.,
English). Here is a brief description
from IMDb.com: "The film is based
on A.G. Sulzberger's 2010 New York
Times article "For Kodachrome Fans,
Road Ends at Photo Lab in Kansas"
about a father and son who take
a road trip to Kansas in order to
develop photographs at Kodak's last
Kodachrome lab before it closes its
doors forever."
Our second monthly screening, on
Sunday, Oct. 28 at 6 pm, is the film
Won't You Be My Neighbor? (USA 2018, 1 hr. 34 min., English). Here
is a brief description from IMDb.com: "Charmingly soft-spoken yet
powerfully incisive expressing his
profound ideals, Fred Rogers was
a unique presence on television for
generations. Through interviews
of his family and colleagues, the
life of this would-be pastor is
explored as a man who found a
more important calling to provide
an oasis for children in a video sea
of violent bombardment."
All of our screenings are
followed by lively discussion
about the film; we'd love to have
you join us. The Lodge Theatre has very limited seating, so if you're
interested in our screenings, come early; we hope to see you there.
Please note that all films announced are subject to availability. If you
have any questions about the Counter Culture Cinema Club or want
to recommend a film, please email Micki Rosen at michelesrosen@

The Veteran's Club at Four Seasons was formed in September 2013. Our
mission was to recognize all the veterans living here at Four Seasons. To date,
we have 115+ neighbors recognized as Veterans of the many wars our Nation
has endured. These Veterans are recognized in our Honor Roll website, www.
fourseasonsvets.org.
Our club is quite unique. We do not have structured meetings, dues, or costs.

Computer Technology
The Computer Technology Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am in the RCN building. We try to announce the
current month's subject via email before the meeting so, if you are on our mailing list, watch for subject announcement.
During October's meeting we will discuss "Staying Safe Online and Preventing Identity Theft," a useful subject for our time.
Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings and learn some valuable things about our tech devices. We encourage discussion and
suggestions for future meetings. ~ Howard Lyon
