FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2018 17 Hello! My name is Daisy. I am part Beagle and part Cavalier King Charles. I've got the best of both breeds with the Cavalier chestnut markings around my eyes and my ears, and my soulful Beagle eyes and happy wagging tail. My birthday is just over a month away on Nov. 29. I can't believe spunky and affectionate little ol' me will be nine years old! I was one year and three months old when my mom and human sister found me at an Orange County pet store which was closing down. I was very thin and very hungry. It was the best day of my life when I went home with my new mom and sister. I didn't know what grass felt like because I had always lived in a cage. I was so happy to meet my other human sister, too. My new family already had another dog named Kiki and she was dad's favorite. But dad has grown to love me too. After all these years together we are best buds. By the time you read this I will be living the retirement life with my husband, Bruce, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I have loved meeting and photographing all the wonderful fur-kids and their pet parents who have been featured as Pets of the Month in the Breeze. I will truly miss this beautiful and pet-friendly community of Four Seasons! I plan to continue my pet photography in New Mexico by photographing adoptable pets for shelters and rescues, as well as growing my photography business by creating memorable portraits of pets for their families. I am happy that the talented Elaine Hollman will be taking over the Breeze pet photography beginning with the November issue.
