Once again hello from the land of
golf, swimming pools, and the quiet
world of Sun Lakes. As always, I hope
your summer was a great one. Ok!
Before I start rambling on about really
important stuff such as the price of
coffee in South America, here are some
important RV Club dates to put down
on your calendar.
• Oct. 10, 6 pm: Our Annual Meeting Pizza Party, South
Clubhouse
• Dec. 2, 5 - 9:30 pm: Our Annual Christmas Party, North
Clubhouse
• Jan. 13 - 14, 2019: Our Annual Home Rally, South Clubhouse
• Feb. 24 - March 1, 2019: Pala Casino RV

So there you have it. True, three of the
events are not true get-out-of-town RV Rallies.
However, if you just sit back in your favorite chair,
with your favorite drink, close your eyes, we can
all pretend we are at the RV resort of our dreams.
I'm not sure what that all means but I think you get
the idea. All kidding aside, these three non-travel RV
events allow for all of our RV family members to join
us. And they can do this without worry about schedules
and whether or not they want to drive their RV to wherever we have
picked for our next rally.
Last but not least, here are a few of the special days in October:
• Oct. 5: Smile Day
• Oct. 4: Animal Day (Special cookie for your doggie)
• Oct. 5: Do Something Nice Day
• Oct. 12: Moment of Frustration Day
• October: Sarcastic Month
Of course we also have Halloween, the day of monsters and candy.
However, to many the most important event in October is Breast
Cancer Awareness Month. Whatever day is the most important day
for you, we all just need to remember that we will all be dead a lot
longer than we are alive, so be sure to celebrate each and every day.
