48 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2018 This article is written as a specific thank you to all the amazing Billiards for Fun Group members. You are among the kindest, funniest, friendliest, most talented, and genuine people here at Four Seasons. You enthusiastically and continually support each other as you pair up for teams each week, and play the rotations from table to table amid laughter, encouragement and good-natured camaraderie. You are amazing! Thank you all for your attendance, enthusiasm and consistency in support of the Billiard for Fun Group. On Oct. 29, the Billiards for Fun Group was invited to compete against the Curly Cues. It was a good-natured, lively competition, and there were a lot of people who signed up to play. We'll announce the winners of this tournament in the December issue of the Breeze. On Nov. 13, we will hold our last in-house tournament of 2018. The winners will be announced in the January issue of the Breeze. This tournament will also complete the three- year plaque we have filled with our tournament winners. Congratulations to all the 2018 winners! In 2019, we will order a new plaque which will take us through 2021. If you are interested in joining an amazing group of really fun billiards-players, come join us any Tuesday in the Billiards Room at The Lodge, at either of our two sessions: 11 am to 1 pm or 1 to 3 pm. There is also a practice session on Saturdays in the same time slots. Hope to see you soon! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine Our quarterly luncheon was held on Sept. 10 at Sizzler in Banning with 16 ladies attending. Everyone enjoyed the lunch with lots of laughs and chatter. After lunch we headed back to The Lodge to play some pool with a lot more laughs and chatter. Our annual holiday party will be held on Monday, Dec. 10, at Tukwet Golf Course in Beaumont. If you are interested in checking us out, we play on Mondays at 11 am and welcome anyone who would like to stop by. New players are always welcome.
