The roller shades in the Ballroom, Craft Room and the Spa
building were approved for replacement. The flooring in the
gym at the Spa building was also approved for replacement. Both
projects should start shortly.
We are continuing to move forward on the expansion of the
Craft Room. Management has received bids from three vendors
and the committee is in the process of reviewing the bids. We are
considering a door that will connect the adjoining old Computer
Room to the existing Craft Room.
We are planning to replace the flooring in the old Computer
Room to match the Arts & Crafts Room, and give it a fresh coat of
paint. A number of new cabinets and new tables are also being
considered.
There is a need for automatic door openers for restroom
handicap access at The Courts and The Summit. The openers will
be the same as at The Lodge. Management is currently receiving
bids from vendors to present to the committee.
We currently have several positions open on the Facility
Committee for anyone interested in serving our community.
The Facility Committee meets in the RCN building on the
second Wednesday of the month at 10 am. We always welcome
residents to join us and share their ideas or concerns. ~ Bruce
