Now that autumn has arrived, there are a few chores we need to do around the
house to get ready for winter. One of the most important jobs, if you have rain gutters,
is to make sure they are clear of leaves and debris. Water can cause damage if it
gets under the roof or cause splashing of dirt onto the stucco causing staining
of the stucco. Also pull those last few weeds so they don't produce the seeds
that will sprout in the spring. With cooler temps, we should cut back on our
water usage. Plants going dormant don't need as much water as they did during
the hot summer months. SAVE WATER/SAVE MONEY
Anyone interested in joining our committee is invited to join our weekly walks
through the various areas of the community. Our committee meets the third Tuesday
of each month in the RCN at 1 pm. All are welcome to see how we work to keep our
community beautiful. ~ Ken Marquet
