CLASS, GAME, MEETING SCHEDULES The holiday season is rapidly approaching, and many of us have started our holiday shopping. The Neighborhood Watch Steering Committee would like to wish everyone a healthy, happy and safe holiday season. When shopping, be aware of your surroundings while parking your car and when returning to the car after shopping. When possible, park in a well-lit area and place all packages out of sight so thieves are not attracted to your vehicle. When returning to the car with packages, have your keys ready to unlock the car, and be aware of anyone loitering in the area. If you are suspicious of someone loitering, please return to the store and report the activity to store employees and call police. There is safety in numbers, so whenever possible, shop with friends or family members. It is getting dark earlier now. If you are out walking, cycling or jogging, wear light clothing and use a flashlight so vehicles driven in our community can see you. When driving through the Four Seasons community, please adhere to the speed limits. The posted speed on Four Seasons Circle is 30 mph and 25 mph in our residential streets. Please stop at the stop signs and yield to vehicles in the roundabouts, and to pedestrians crossing the roadways in crosswalks and at our intersections. The AED/CPR training conducted in October was well-attended by our residents. If you missed this important training class, plan to attend our next class. There will be information about the training, and a sign-up sheet in The Lodge for anyone interested in attending this important training presentation. Our next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be Nov. 4 at 10 am in The Lodge Ballroom. We will have a special presentation by the San Gorgonio Pass Historical Society on the history of this area. Four Seasons residents John and Rea McLaughlin have an exciting presentation planned for our residents. There will be coffee and pastries during the meeting. Please put the date on your schedule. Thank you to our Block Captains for their continuing service to our community, and to the Neighborhood Watch Steering Committee and First Service Residential employees for planning and coordinating the presentation. Remember, if you see something, say something. ~ Jerry Monahan Neighborhood Watch
