You only need to bring your own glue and scissors. If you haven't tried our classes, please think about joining us for a fun-filled afternoon! So we will be sure to have enough kits, please RSVP for the classes. Our schedule for November will be a little different — our regular class will be on Nov. 23 and on Nov. 30 we are having a class to make tags and gift cards. The cost is still $6. In addition to individual projects, we also offer class projects throughout the year to teach new techniques. Come and join in the fun. Drop by the Arts & Crafts Room to see our monthly ceramics class schedule, and learn more about our upcoming class projects. We meet Wednesdays from 1 to 4 pm and the first Saturday of each month from 9 am to 1 pm. Please see class schedule for any exceptions. A certified instructor and/or an experienced class team lead is available to support your crafting needs. Participation is at your own pace and frequency. Our purpose is connecting by social "meetin'-ya" via "face-to-face-look." We meet this month on the fifth Thursday due to Thanksgiving. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6 pm. We gather at the atrium in The Lodge, order any Smitty's food items that we want and then move to The Lodge Card Room. Feel free to bring your own adult beverage, if you desire, and appropriate glassware. Everyone is welcome. Don't forget Palm Springs LGBT Pride festival Nov. 2 - 4. No topic has been decided at this time. We welcome any new residents who want to learn to knit or crochet. We have people to teach and ample supplies to furnish any new students. We also welcome the experienced, and those who want to refresh an old hobby. Join us each Tuesday morning from 10 to 11:30 am in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room. ~ Dorothy Payne With the cooler weather and the holidays coming, the Craft Group is working on some things to spruce up our homes. Our latest project, pictured, was brought to us by craft group member, Gloria McGarity. We hope you enjoyed the Craft Boutique and we thank you for attending!
