40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2018 Amphitheater Believe it or not, the 2018 Amphitheater season has ended. The Four Seasons community enjoyed five great bands, everything from rock to country to Motown graced the Amphitheater stage. Over 1,500 residents enjoyed these great shows and the gift basket prizes. From Woodstock night to cow roping, it was a fun year. A big thanks to all who came and supported the efforts of the amazing Amphitheater Group team and the Techies. These concerts are brought to you by a team effort. We are so lucky to have these great concerts just minutes from our front doors. A special thanks to all the volunteers who help make these great musical summer nights a reality. If you are interested in joining us next year, we are always looking for help. You can contact me at lassenqa@aol.com. We are all looking forward to an even better 2019. ~ Mark Lassen What a busy year we've had, putting on productions for the Four Seasons Beaumont community! Now our last offering of the year – the Holiday Show – will be presented on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Tickets will be available at The Lodge front desk, probably two weeks before the shows. Be on the lookout for the announcement, the shows sell out fast. Tickets are limited to six per household, and you must choose either Friday or Saturday evening. The theme this year is "World War II in the South Pacific," and the Four Seasons Singers will be performing seasonal songs and Christmas carols as part of the show. There are acts that will remind you of the USO shows that Bob Hope and his troupe (as well as famous stars) put on for the troops during WWII. We welcome ideas for the types of shows you would like to see — or be a part of! We had a great turnout for our Old Time Radio Show as well as for Love and Marriage II. If you have an idea for a show, or would like to perform in a show with us, please consider attending a Performing Arts Club meeting. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4 pm in the RCN Conference Room. You will see what goes on to make our shows happen. We have to work with the technical crew and we can always use stage hands. All of us volunteer our time to bring good entertainment for the community. We love what we do. There is nothing better than getting an enthusiastic audience response to our shows. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact Teri Meyers-Kelman at terimk@verizon.net or call her at (951) 992-9156 or (602) 309-0919. ~ Sharon Bond Performing Arts Club WORLD WAR II IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC NOV. 30 AND DEC. 1
