Happy Thanksgiving ladies, lets count our blessings… In October we had a great time at the Pala Casino. As usual the show and food were outstanding. For our November event we are going to the Grove Theatre in Upland to see Menopause the musical. The cost is $45, usually $65. If you are interested, please call Lucille Gould at (951)325-8366 or chm0177@ aol.com to see if there are any available seats left. December will be here soon. Our annual Christmas party is planned for Mon., Dec.10 at 12 noon in the Lodge Ballroom. Francisco will be catering a spectacular buffet luncheon. If you have not signed up yet and would like to attend, please call Pat Hall at (951) 599-4687 or pjhall@prodigy.net. We would love to invite new members to come to our meetings on the fourth Monday of the month at 2 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. We are a friendly group of ladies who have a lot of fun. Thought for November: It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do for which we are accountable. S. flags in the community on select dates. The cart parades take place on the 4th of July (a patriotic theme) and during the holidays close to Christmas (a holiday theme). We get great turn outs for these two events, and you are encouraged to participate in either or both events. This year's Holiday Cart Parade will be held on Dec. 9. U. S. flags are posted by members of the Golf Cart Club on eight days (three on Four Seasons/World Cup only and five days on all streets). This effort requires the dedicated work of 14 members (and sometimes their spouses) of the Golf Cart Club. I am sure that you will want to thank them for their contribution to our community. Most of these residents have been doing this task for many years: Chuck and Jean Farr, John and Colleen Ferguson, Dave and Char Weakly, John and Sandi O'Connor, Carrie Stephens, Kevin and Roxie Snider, Maggie and Bob Fussell, Kelly and Sharon Collier, Ginny Coleweaver, Don and Sharon Sims, Cecil and Debbie Frazier, Bonnie and Tom Moore, Greg and Bev Rockvam, and Mike and Donna McLaughlin. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication! It's very much appreciated! If you want to join the Golf Cart Club and/or help with the flags, please give me, Mike McLaughlin, a call (951) 325-8757 or send an email to mikemcla43@aol.com). Hope to see you for the Holiday Golf Cart Parade.
