Tennis Friends
Bringing home an array of medals from the
Oldlympics, Four Seasons residents proved
that they live in one of the most active 55-
plus communities in the area. Senior athletes
won gold, silver and bronze medals in tennis,
pickleball, swimming, track and bingo at the
annual event held in September at Valley Wide
Park in San Jacinto.
Four Season's MVP was Hortencia Roesler,
who brought home EIGHT medals, including
three gold and three silvers in various
women's track events, a gold in women's
bench press and a bronze with her husband
Juergen in chair volleyball. Other medalists
were:

Gold: Joan Greene/Cathy Sims – Women's
Doubles, Level 1; Judy Bailey/Victoria
Tarabochia – Women's Doubles, Level 2; Joan
Greene – Mixed Doubles, Level 1 and Judy
Bailey/Mason Arnold - Mixed Doubles, Level
2; Silver: Lorraine Cheung/Cheryl Robinson
– Women's Doubles, Level 2
Pickleball (awarded in their respective age

Gold: Carol Ferber – 3K Walk
Dennis Bovee brought home Silver and
three Bronze medals in swimming; Monica
Scholl won a Silver medal for Bingo. Other
participants included Ann Alexander and
George Togo, tennis.
Come join the fun! We play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays
from 7:30 am to noon. We invite anyone that would like to learn
how to play Pickleball to come on down the fourth Saturday of the
month at 8 am for lessons. We know you will have as much fun as
we do. Players of all skill levels welcome!
