READY, SET… BOWL! Tuesday bowling at Canyon Lanes begins
this month. This is a league for Sun Lakers and Friends! The good
news is our fees for bowling will not increase this season. Canyon
Lanes has one of the best rates for Senior Leagues in Southern
California. I know this from bowling in other houses in the area.
However, there is a change in the charge for practice games. Practice
games will be $2 per game or three games for $5.
The organizational meeting is Oct. 2 at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse
Ballroom. Bowling starts Tues., Oct. 9 at 9 am at Canyon Lanes.

We are in week three of our winter season and we have four teams
tied for first place. They are, SOB's with Ginger Chavez, Mike Draney,
Karen Struchen and Ray Struchen; Killer Keglers with Mike Galongo,
Loren Pitz, Shirley McDonald and Ed Collatz; Wood Choppers with
Gordon Wood, Yvonne Wood, Marilyn Palaeogus and Ed Sterger; Holy
Rollers with Warren Hollabaugh, Jo Hollabaugh, Marry Lou Peterson
and Lee Peterson.
Season High Scores for the men; Scratch Series, Andy Toro with a
709. Scratch Game, Larry Stormes with a 247. Season High Scores for
the women; Scratch Series; Gail Stormes with a 516. Scratch Game,
Sally Brown with a 203.
