| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2018 | 11 We had a great September meeting! Thanks to all who came out to welcome Riverside County Animal Services guest speakers. They discussed some very interesting subjects. One subject which I'm sure everyone is interested in is licensing for your pets. If your pet has a lifetime license from Beaumont, they will honor it. Beaumont has sent all updated information on your pets license to Riverside County Animal Services. When your pet license is due you will receive something in the mail. All lost pets picked up in Banning will go to San Jacinto Animal Shelter. Another interesting item is their Working Cat Program Partnership with Petco in Beaumont. They are looking for volunteers at Beaumont Petco to help socialize the cats or help clean the cat cages. If interested please contact Minette Torres at 791-3763. If you encounter any injured wildlife please contact Riverside County Animal Services at 358-7387. If they can't assist they will contact the appropriate agency. Our next meeting will be Nov. 19 at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Linda Dixon, with her well-behaved dogs, will be our guest speaker. The Fall Craft Fair is this month Nov. 2, and 3. Stop by and say hi and see what goodies we have! A reminder to all, keep your pets safe. We have a lot of wildlife! Do not leave pets unattended in the yard! See you all at the November meeting. Info., Sandra Burgon, 909- 855-0226. I would like to acknowledge and thank Jason Ewals, the PCM Recreation Director and his staff. Jason and his staff continuously go above and beyond in helping make our club events go off without a hitch. He selflessly offers to do things many times after hours and on weekends. This, I am sure, is beyond what I imagine his Sun Lakes duties are. Thank you Jason and staff for caring. Warmest Regards, Raelene Kretchman Things we are grateful for… If you have someone to thank or want to spread a little good cheer, please email your gratitude to sunlakesnews@yahoo.com. Put "Gratitude" in the subject line.
