All comments on the annual Follies this year were excellent and many said it was the best performance of a Follies show they had ever seen here at Sun Lakes. We performed several Asian dances for the show. The "Girls with Pearls" party for Young at Heart was a big success, also with two of our Asian dances. We had fun tempting our audience as we danced around the tables with veils on Mediterranean Night; Donna Kissling and two other Belly Dance divas were the highlight of the night. The private and first event of "International Food Tasting" was a big success this year. Anita Lawrence provided an informative and detailed article in the October issue of Sun Lakes Life. We will consider different dishes each year in the continuation of expanding our knowledge of different cultures around the world. The big show for International Dancers in May of 2019 promises to be a huge success as we become involved with diligent practice of many new numbers. This dance will be seen for the first time at Activities Day in January. We are presenting a Collette Tours travel presentation on Nov. 7 at 2 pm at the South Clubhouse. Everyone welcome. The group will be sponsoring the San Gorgonio Ballet Company on March 31. A full ballet will be performed. The show will include professional dancers, and will be enjoyed in our Ballroom. Ticket information and more specifics will be made public soon. A large donation was made by the Stardust Dancers to the Ballet Company from the profit of the July "Dancing in the USA" Show. Julia Rodriguez, a Banning resident will be directing the ballet.
