Stay healthy, but don't work too hard at it. (After all is said and done, health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital, dying of nothing.) Take some quiet time each day and — with a glass of wine and a bottle of your vintage past — reflect on years gone by. Don't be surprised when you have a smile on your face and memories slip out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. I have enjoyed sharing memories and musings like this one with my friends in our Sun Lakes Creative Writing Group on the first Mondays and third Wednesdays each month from 3 to 5 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. All you need is a pen or pencil and paper, or a laptop, and a willingness to share. Happy Thanksgiving one and all! ~ Bob Percy The Sun Lakes Computer Club will be meeting Thurs., Nov. 1 and 15 at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month. Our summer meetings (July, August, and September) are held only on the third Thursday of these months. The club is for persons of all computer skill levels. Each meeting will feature various topics and speakers. Handouts are given out for each presentation so you can take notes. This is a great way to share information and learn some ways to become an effective computer user.
