| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2018 | 31 On Fri., Dec. 7, D.J. Blast will be playing your favorite dance songs in the Ballroom. This is not a karaoke event! This is strictly a dance show! If you have not been out to a dance night with D.J. Blast, you are simply missing a really great dance experience. Having a D.J. as host means you have a wide variety of music from the '40s through '90s and even some of today's hits. On a night of dancing to music by a D.J., the music can include Swing, Country, Salsa, Rock, Funk, Easy and many others. One other thing to keep in mind when stepping out to an evening of dancing with a D.J. is D.J.s take fewer breaks. You may have noticed when bands play, they will often take a 15 to 20 minute break and that may be all it takes to dampen your dance mood. So come out on Dec. 7 to a fun dance event like no other. Get up and boogie on Fri., Dec. 7 in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Let's party like it's 1999. The hours are from 7 to 10:30 pm. P.S. You can catch D.J. Blast, Rosie Ingalls & Barb Miller in the South Clubhouse for singing, dancing, fun and friendship on Fri., Dec. 28 from 5:30 to 9 pm. Karaoke Group Chorale The Chorale of Sun Lakes is ready for its holiday show, "A Season of Love and Laughter." Director Mark Faber has chosen some wonderful new songs for your enjoyment, along with the standards we all love so much. There will be lots of audience participation again this year! Concert performances are Fri., Nov. 30 and Sat., Dec. 1 at 7 pm, and Sun., Dec. 2 at 3pm. Tickets have been selling like crazy, but you can still buy them at the door. They cost $10 for adults and children 12 and over. Tickets for children under 12 are $5. Bring your holiday spirit and enjoy some spectacular musical entertainment!
