Class is free on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 am. The SASY team wishes each of you a very Merry Christmas! The holidays can be challenging with all the distractions of the season. Don't forget your exercise. If you are not here with us, at least get out and walk off some of that wonderful holiday cuisine one consumes this time of year. We welcome all and hope you will stop by to check out our program. You will have fun! We do start early and as we advertise each month, we do not restrict "chatting". Strong Adults Stay Young (SASY) There is a small, but fun group of women golfers in Four Seasons who gather to play weekly on Thursdays. We usually play at the Hemet Golf Course, but occasionally we travel to a different course. Also we sometimes meet for lunch after our round. We are trying to "grow" our group. We welcome all women golfers. Yes, at this time we are gender-specific; after all, we call ourselves the DIVAS. We welcome ALL levels of play, because that is what we are. No handicap required. We are not an official, sanctioned league. We just love to get together and play and socialize. You can play nine or 18 holes. If you are new to golf or have been playing for years, please consider joining us. You don't have to be a Four Seasons resident. Dave and Karen Tuvim make it happen and they will be the first to admit that "changing your lifestyle" is not an easy process. We like to state that we are a support group – encouraging each other as we walk the tightrope to better health. Thank you, Dave and Karen for your splendid efforts. We encourage you to stop by for a visit. The program's focus is informational on a myriad of subjects from suggestions on food choices when we dine out to keeping an active lifestyle. "Walk-Fit" Exercise Club Happy holidays! Hopefully you will have lots of good times with family and friends — time with lots of good food. Now would be a good time to get a head start against all those holiday calories. Walk Fit Class is a good way to start. A full hour of aerobic walking burns about 350 calories. (three times a week is 1050 calories.) The class consists of eight different Leslie Sansone "Walk Fit" dvds. The easy-to-follow routines are set to music with varying tempos. The complete class is four miles, but you can come late or leave early to shorten your routine and work at your own level. A few of the dvds incorporate resistance bands (always optional). Some class members add light hand weights for added strength training. Stop by and give us a try. New members are always welcome!
