Our November Neighborhood Watch meeting included a special presentation by the San Gorgonio Pass Historical Society on the history of our area. The presentation was headed by a long-time city and Four Seasons resident John McLaughlin, who provided a pictorial showcasing Beaumont from its beginning up to the present, depicting the city's rich and interesting history. With 2018 coming to an end, it's worth noting over the past year your Neighborhood Watch Committee has provided great information in the monthly meetings. In addition to the Historical Society, just this year we had speakers from Animal Control, Beaumont Police, California Highway Patrol, Mila - Beaumont's Police Dog, and the Beaumont Library. All meetings provide a wealth of community information to keep you in-the-know, as well as tips to help keep you safe. We had a great turnout for National Night Out with more fantastic speakers, some of whom expressed what a great Neighborhood Watch program we have at Four Seasons. If you have not made any New Year's resolutions, a good one would be to attend the regular meetings which are held the second Wednesday of the month at 10 am in The Lodge Ballroom, with quarterly block captain meetings as well. There will be no meeting in December due to the holidays, however, they will resume in the new year with the first meeting Jan. 9, 2019. If your block does not have a block captain, or one that is inactive, or you are new to the community and you would like to help, please contact Donna Lewis, Block Captain Leader at (909) 831-9536.
