Why I Love My Club, Group or Class Bunco Curly Cues Four Seasons Singers Here is why I love Four Seasons Singers: Yes, we all love to sing, but it's a whole lot more. We have a strong connection to each other through music and our lives here at Four Seasons. These friendships are treasures and sharing music is our reward. ~ Roberta Hokuf Research indicates that singing increases our oxygen flow and is a good activity for seniors but that's not why I love choir. I love it because singing is so much fun! Our fearless leader, Barb Wasco, makes everyone comfortable, no matter what skill level they are in reading music. She makes everyone feel welcome. Then, at the performance I feel like a child again getting up on stage and performing beautiful music to an audience. What fun! Every December we go to The Lakes and sing for the residents there and the Memory Care Unit. They so appreciate our music. The Four Seasons Singers are a great group of people who work together to enjoy each other's talents. I always look forward to Mondays when we sing! ~ Cheryl Ralston Two years ago, I didn't even know what Bunco was. Now, I enjoy playing the game as often as I can. The Bunco Group is made up of fun-loving, accepting women and men who enjoy whooping it up and laughing. I love playing Bunco and all the people in the group, too. You should try joining us one of these days. The dice are waiting. ~ Mike Corbett My husband, Johnny, has always played pool with the fellas as long as I can remember, but it was always just a "guy thing." When the Curly Cues ladies group was formed, I wasn't really interested as I didn't know how to hold a cue stick or rack the balls, let alone know the rules or how to play. A couple of friends got me interested in the group so I started to play. It didn't take long and I absolutely fell in love with the game. We have a fabulous, fun group of ladies who play every Monday from 11 am to 1 pm. If you are new to our community or have been here a while please check us out. It doesn't matter if you have ever played or just played bar room pool, we are happy to work with you and I promise you'll have a good time. Our custom-made pink and black shirts are always a hit, too! ~ Leta Ramirez
