Line Dancing Join us every Tuesday to learn something new that's really exercise disguised as fun. Line dancing is low impact, requires no special equipment and gives you the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends in our community. Even if you have never danced before and don't want to learn a lot of dances, join us and learn one or two very easy dances and maybe you will find that you like it and want to continue. Or maybe you will be happy knowing those two dances so you can join in now and then. The beginning class starts at 3 pm and is only 45 minutes. The advanced class begins at 3:45 pm and is always working on a new dance. We also take the time to dance to old favorites. We sometimes dance so much we actually work up a sweat and we always laugh a lot. Any questions? Call (951) 769-3889. ~ Martha Franck Revised class schedule for 2013: Beginner Level, Wednesdays, 4 – 5:20 pm; Intermediate Level, Wednesdays, 5:20 - 6 pm. Everyone is encouraged to stay for intermediate level. This session will be devoted to practicing all the dances we learn. It's like a mini dance marathon. No intermediate level dance class on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. This day is reserved for celebrating our monthly birthdays. Upcoming Events: Saturday, Feb. 2, if you attended and enjoyed yourself at our Beaumont anniversary celebration you do not want to miss this next event. Mark your calendars! Complete details will be distributed in special flyers. Join your fellow residents who like old school music and enjoy learning new dances — plus keep fit while living life to the fullest! They started ballroom dancing in March of 2012 and have really enjoyed themselves, so we thought you'd like to hear their story: "After moving to Four Seasons it took us a while to become comfortable in our new community. We've always done things together and we wanted to keep active, so we looked for something we could share, something that would be fun, help us stay physically and mentally fit, and allow us to meet more people. "We heard about ballroom dancing, and although we never had dance lessons before this seemed like it might fit our needs, so we gave it a try. "In the Ballroom Dance Club we found a group of very friendly people having great fun and enjoying dancing, and they made us feel right at home. We not only learned a wide variety of new dances but also made many new friends. "The dance instructors are very good, but most importantly they are sensitive to the needs of us beginners. They took us step by step through each dance, and if we had trouble with something they would spend time with us to get it right. 30 Life Guide Bible Study Heart & Soul Line Dance FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2013 | clubs & Groups "Our dance experience has been so good that we recommend it highly to anyone who, like us, wants to make new friends and participate in a very enjoyable activity." - Suzie and Frank Gorgei For questions or comments, please contact Puring and Gary Stifter at (951) 922-8333, or at purings@verizon.net. ~ Willis Fagan All Seasons RV Club By the time this issue of the Breeze is published, we will have completed our Lake Havasu and Quartzsite trips. More about this in the next issue. March 10 to 15, we will be at Santee Lakes. Ann Williams and Jill Yanes are planning this trip. They have some fun things planned for us. There will be a fishing derby for the men, card games in the lodge one night, and a bingo night with "white elephants" as prizes. Of course, the women will undoubtedly go on a shopping trip one day. Also, in the planning stage is a trip for May 14 to 24, to some of California's finest wine regions. We will begin with a stay in Paso Robles where we will tour wineries, visit the downtown shopping area, and eat at a Basque restaurant. From there we will go north to the Russian River Valley and the Anderson Valley. We will tour some wineries as well as visit Mendocino. Dorothy and Steve Meier and Nancy and Ron Morgan will be wagon masters for this trip. Future trips are planned for the Elks Rodeo in Santa Maria in June and to Big Bear Lake in July. If you have an RV come join us on one of our trips. We promise you will have a fantastic time. Our meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 pm in the Arts and Crafts Room at the Lodge. ~ Nancy Morgan In the month of February we will continue our study in the series "Living Life God's Way." There's been a lot of research and studies done in the last 60 or 70 years that indicate that the way you see yourself determines the way you act and react in life. If a person sees himself as unattractive, inadequate, a loser, or a failure then they will tend to act out in those ways. It isn't until a person begins to change their self-perception and see themselves in healthy and positive ways, that they begin making the changes that they need to make. In our studies we will look at such topics as: Who do you think you are? How to be Unselfish; Your Integrity and Your Influence. Come and join us as we explore these subjects of interest to everyone. Everybody is welcome. We meet in the Lodge Ballroom on Tuesdays from 7 to 8 pm. We provide an opportunity to meet people in the Four Seasons community and encourage and strengthen one another in our walk of faith. By the way, each lesson is self-contained so you will benefit from the discussion even if you have missed previous lessons. This study time will give you an opportunity to share your faith and gain encouragement and help from others in the group.
