| OHCC LIVING | DECEMBER 2018 | 43
Around the beginning of October, RV Club members traveled to
Durango, CO. While there, they enjoyed the annual Durango Cowboy
Poetry in Motion event, the Durango & Silverton train ride, the Wild
Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, and other activities. A huge thank you goes out
to the wagon-masters: Bob and Barbara Becker, Joann Bush and Bill
Beckley, and Tim Wilbur and Beth Brewer.
Complementing the Durango trip was a "pop-up" trip to Moab. The
RV Club members visited Arches, Canyonlands National Parks, and
Dead Horse Point State Park.
Last month's RV Club news gave the wrong dates for the 2019 trip
to Northern CA/Southern OR. The correct date for this trip is Sept. 4 -
18. This will be an epic trip headed by wagon-masters Skip and Sandy
Harvey, Tom and Sue Porter, and Mel and Jan Feintuch.
There will be no membership meeting in December, but there
will be a holiday party on Dec. 11. We will be installing the new club
officers for 2019 at that party. Some RV Club members will be going
to the Rose Parade, Dec. 29 - Jan. 2. In addition, one more thing– Do
Dues Day is quickly approaching on Jan. 5. Be there.
The next RV Club membership meeting will be on Jan. 22, in
Abravanel Hall. Social time starts at 7 pm, and business meeting
starts at 7:30 pm.
