28 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JANUARY 2019 | Paisano Club We hope you had a marvelous Christmas - full of friends and grandchildren, lots of parties and delicious meals. Our December event was wonderful - a great success. We thank all our members for sharing this with us. We feasted on prime rib, ham, shrimp cocktail, potatoes, vegetables and a yummy dessert. Every table had a bottle of champagne on it. A prize was given to one member at each table. We were entertained by Sheila James and a friend. Nobody wanted to go home. A big hand to Peggy Knox - decorations, Provi Donadio - food and Jerri Wall - entertainment. Paisano Club is dark in January so we can catch our breath and plan our 2019 schedule. Feb. 1 will be a Mardi Gras theme - very colorful. Some of our other different themes this coming year will be a circus theme and a 50s sock hop. Be there or be square. Checks can be mailed or dropped off at 610 Torrey Pines Road (box by front door) or given to Carol Choisnet 769-2616, at the event for the next month's dinner or your dues. Please get your checks in early as we fill up fast, we can only seat 105. We meet the first Friday of every month. Guests from Sun Lakes can come one time for $20, then if they decide to join, they will have to pay the membership fee of $20 and $16 dinner fee. If you want to bring a guest not from Sun Lakes, the fee is $20. If you need to cancel, you must do so by the Friday prior to the Friday of the event to be reimbursed. Please call Carol Choisnet at 769-2616. Our only requirement to be a member is that you enjoy having fun and love people and come with a hearty appetite. You do not have to worry about where you will sit if you don't know any of our members, as we will seat you at a table with friendly people.
