Culture Club
Happy New Year to the old club members, new club members, Sun
Lakes residents and employees. We are looking forward to a new year
in this beautiful place and all of our activities and friendships and
the caring we have for one another.
The ICC has a different format in January as the kitchen and bar
are having some necessary maintenance done during the first part of
the month. We will still have our dinner dance as usual on the second
Thursday evening of the month and we will dance to the music of
Global Affair. However, we are in for a treat, as Johnny Russo's Italian
Kitchen, one of our popular local restaurants, will cater our buffet.
The buffet will feature meat lasagna, chicken bella (stuffed breasts),
pasta primavera (vegetarian), salad, rolls and butter, coffee and iced
tea and a surprise dessert.
Sign up for this dinner dance on the first Thursday afternoon of
the month at 3 pm at the North Clubhouse. Members will pay $25
and non-resident guests $28 as prices have gone up for 2019. Our
try-before-you-join is still in effect. The annual club membership is
$25 per person for the new year.
If you cannot attend the dance after sign-ups, contact Carol Hurt at
769-1315 no later than the following Sunday afternoon following the
sign-ups and she will return your check. Otherwise you can contact
her for a take-out meal box.
