I can barely come up with songs about Tuesday. The two songs that come to mind immediately are Tuesday Afternoon by The Moody Blues and Ruby Tuesday by The Rolling Stones. Both of which were recorded by British recording groups. Most folks would say that Valentine's day is probably the standout date in February, which is set aside for those who love to love; therefore songs about love are numerous and always a great subject for the songwriter. Some of the very best love songs, I believe, are in this top 10 list. 1. My Heart Will Go On/Celine Dion 2. I Will Always Love You/Whitney Houston 3. You Needed Me/Anne Murray 4. I Can't Help Falling In Love With You/Elvis Presley 5. For Sentimental Reasons/Nat King Cole 6. Because You Loved Me/Celine Dion 7. Unchained Melody/The Righteous Brothers 8. Amazed/Lonestar 9. You Decorated My Life/Kenny Rogers 10. Unforgettable By Nat and Natalie Cole Everyone has his or her own top ten favorite love songs. This top 10 is a tiny fraction of what many people may consider a fair sampling of the best love songs from at least one person's perspective. This February you can sing your favorite love songs at Goodtimes Karaoke with Rosie Ingalls,Barb Miller & D.J. Blast. We have a wide range of love songs and much more that you can choose from in our Karaoke library. Karaoke Group Chorale The Chorale of Sun Lakes is up and running, preparing for a spring session featuring songs to make you smile. They call Disneyland the "happiest place on earth," but we think of Sun Lakes that way too. Led by Director Mark Faber, our 100+ members practice singing at Monday morning rehearsals, 9:30 am to 12:15 pm in the Ballroom and at shorter individual section practices on Thursdays in the Bus Room. Our Spring Concert Series will be held April 26, 27, and 28. Mark your calendars, and don't miss it!
