Access Control Committee
As a result of numerous gate failures and
the rising costs for repairs over the past
few months, it was decided to produce a
proposal that would minimize the constant
back and forth motion that gives rise to
these rear gate failures.
A submittal to the Board has been made
and approved for a revision of the protocol
that controls these rear gate movements.
Therefore it has been agreed that the
main iron gate will only be used from
dusk to dawn, and that a more suitable
lightweight barrier arm will be used to
control the flow of traffic during the main
daylight hours.
The speed bump will be moved to give
people ample warning to slow down as
they approach the new barrier, and plans to
install delineators to narrow down the lane
will be dependent on resident's observed
protocol.
Suitable signage and signal lights will be
given to warn drivers to take the necessary
caution when exiting through this gate.
