20 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2019 | Channel your life's experiences, the things that made memories - take those memories and write about them. Let your written memoir be a legacy for your children and grandchildren so they will know how you lived your life. Have fun doing this by joining my Memoir Writing Class. While you're at it, you can also enjoy the home baked refreshments I bring to class each week. Come see for yourself how gratifying it is to recall the past days of our lives. We meet Tuesdays from 2 to 5 pm in the Art Room. For info. contact Ellie Rosenbaum at (951) 223-3375 or effieboot@aol.com. Memoir Writing & Desserts Book Club All readers interested in great discussions, occasional guest speakers and movies, join us the third Monday of every month. Our book for February is Mudbound by Hillary Jordan. We will be meeting at my house at 669 Weir Drive at 2 pm. Hope to see all of you. Any questions contact Vicki Allen-Hitt at (951) 926-6336 or vhitt@hotmail. com. TGIF Feb. 1: The theme for February is Love and Romance to celebrate Valentine's Day. We are looking for a fun and romantic movie to show starting at 6:30 pm. Suggestions are welcome. As an option, we will invite people to come up and share how they met and got married or decided not to get married, but stay together. March 1: We are excited to have Roy Bullock join us and provide entertainment for this TGIF. Roy is a resident of Four Seasons and plays guitar and sings. He will bring a fun and lively program for our enjoyment. March also brings us St. Patty's Day so wear your green if you like. Bring a dish to share with eight to 10, your own utensils, dishes and beverage of choice. We will provide hot water, instant coffee, tea and ice. Don't forget the raffle tickets are two for $1. We have some great prizes Hope to see you at TGIF! Women In Touch (WIT) As many of you know, there is a very special group of ladies here in the community who have bonded together to form the WIT Team. This group of ladies all share a common bond, the loss of the love of their life. This group of ladies meets the first Monday of every month in the Ballroom at 5 pm for dinner and lively conversation. We are your support group and this is your invitation to come join us and be a part of the WIT Team here at Four Seasons. Tickets go on sale Tues., Feb. 5 at the front desk of the Lodge for our March 2 production of Four Seasons Person of the Year written and directed by Four Seasons resident and Players Theater participant, Rudy Rich. Price per ticket is $7 and includes refreshments at intermission. The play begins promptly at 6:30 pm with doors opening at 6 pm. The story is a hilarious spoof on award ceremonies that include a golfer, cheerleader, security person and groundskeeper (played by Quinn Hawley, Candace Hawley, Ginny Cole-Weaver and Dick English respectively) who are being judged for the title. Running the show are two television personalities, Cord and Tish, (played by Chuck Sims and Chris Pounders) who are (and mostly are not) your typical emcees! We also will have a surprise music event by Sandy Tiffin. We are very much in need of male actors! Remember, there is no memorization as we carry our scripts with us during the performance. We meet every third Friday of the month at 1 pm in the Ballroom unless there is a rehearsal. You can contact me at (951) 599-4626 with any comments or questions. The dates for plays in 2019 are March 2, June 29 and Oct. 5. We hope you will join us for any or all of our productions. ~ Chris Pounders, Chair Players Theatre
