Woodchucks
The Woodchucks received amazing feedback from Camp
Pendleton YMCA this year.
These photos show two of the children at the time of the toy
distribution. What happy faces! We wanted to share some heartfelt
cards received from military families. Isn't it great to know that we
made a difference?
The Woodchuck sign-ups at Do Dues Day show how important
our little shop is to Ocean Hills Country Club. We continue hearing
that our woodworking shop is one of the reasons new residents
bought their home in our community.
For our new neighbors, and for those not aware of how things
work, we will review the functions of the Woodchuck Club. We work
with our HOA in providing a well-equipped wood shop available to
all Ocean Hills Country Club residents.
To use the shop, you must watch a safety video and attend a shop
safety orientation. Upon completion, you will receive the badge that
opens the door for you to work with fellow Woodchucks on some
very fine equipment.
We work on different projects that include toy building for the
annual Holiday Camp Pendleton drive, community projects helping
our neighbors, and of course, the family to-do lists.
The shop is located just off Ocean Hills Drive going toward the
back gate; turn left into the driveway toward the RV lot; then left
before the RV gate.
